Full color booklets, also known as multi-page booklets, have many purposes. The most common types are mail order catalogs, parts catalogs, newsletters, playbills, sponsor books, event programs, pamphlets or product/sales catalogs. Depending on your industry or the purpose of your print project you may choose one type over the other.

Determining the appropriate size for your multi-page booklet should be your most important concern. XpressPrint offers multiple booklet sizes, however our standard catalog sizes are - 8.5x11 and 8.5x5.5. These two booklet sizes are the most common in the printing indstury and also the most efficient to produce.
Catalog Page Count
When considering the size, also consider how many pages you think you will have. If you don't already know, keep in mind that in order to print efficiently you should think in set of fours. All booklets and catalog printing is done in multiples of four pages The most efficient page counts are typically, 8 pages, 16 pages, and 32 pages. To keep your price as low as possible, try to keep to those three page counts. However know that we can print 4, 8, 16, 20, 24, 28, 32, and 64 page booklets. XpressPrint is more than happy to provide a custom booklet quote if your project requires more pages. So when thinking about the size, play with the content to get the best number of pages to minimize your cost.
Self-Cover Catalogs
At XpressPrint, our standard booklet pricing is for "self-cover" booklets. That means the cover pages are the same paper stock as the inside pages. This is also the most cost-effective way to print catalogs. We would be happy to provide a custom booklet quote If you want a separate cover stock the for cover of your project.
